Skainet (Pronounced "Skynet") was the company in Terminator 2 that created the Artificial Intelligence that became self-aware on August 29, 1997 and immediately setoff thermonuclear war to destroy humanity.

In reality, Skainet (e.g., OpenAI and clones) likely won't become self-aware until at least 2027, but the end result is likely to be the same, as predicted in AI 2027. This gives humanity a brief opportunity for skankin' with funky ska grooves before the AI apocalypse descends upon us.

Part 1 of the album represents the global euphoria of Chat GPT and the promise of AI superintelligence, while the true nature of AI doesn't emerge until Part 2, when it is too late for humanity to save itself and all jobs are lost and humans become (at best) organic batteries for The Matrix.
